Your profile will appear in Google search as soon as your page is indexed. No matter which privacy settings you’ve got, your name and page preview will be there. In order to check it I suggest you to use Facebook Search site listed below which is build up on Google search around Facebook. So, you’ll get search results only from Facebook.

Click on accounts and then privacy settings then click “application and websites” and then go to public search option. You can do this via public search option.

I don’t have Internet on my phone, but it says if I use my phone to text Facebook updates, I’ll receive my friends’ updates to my phone. I don’t want to receive updates to my phone, I only want to be able to update my own account. How do I do that?

you can text it to a number after you set up mobil facebook, and they have options to be notified. and if it still sends it to you, you can go on to mobil web and update it.

I signed up for twitter then linked my twitter to my cell phone and then my facebook. Your twitter will update from your phone and your facebook will update from your twitter.

So ever since Facebook made its new retarded change I cant change my picture. I don’t have the timeline. But when I go to my pictures to change it it doesn’t show the ‘Set as default’ button. And i know you can go to your profile, click on your picture and you can upload a new photo but I wan to use my old photos and it wont let me.

Click on your pictures, select the one you want then go down and on the right side there will be an option “Make Profile Picture”. Then click it, and that usually works.

Question by : How long does it take facebook to enable your disabled acount?
My facebook account was just deleted and I already sent out a message telling facebook about it. I did nothing wrong, I was signing in today and a message popped up saying I am not able to sign in because my account was disabled. After I sent the message, facebook responded saying that they will fix the problem soon. But, how long does it take facebook to actually enable the account? And when it does get enabled, can you bring back all of your profile information without having to re-add everything, like friends and photos?

It could take weeks or even months. They have millions of mails to look into.

My account was disabled for too much messaging awhile back. I’ve known other ppl who have had their accounts disabled as well. I was told roughly 4 days after sending an email to fb. My account was re-enabled in about 3 and a half days. I would say somewhere from 3-7 days.

In response to the other questions, you don’t lose anything. Your account is only disabled, all the information is still there. Your only blocked from logging into the account.

Oh, you see the Facebook Stalker application is just a type of… I’d hate to call it a scam, but it truly is. All they want you to do is give out your number, or complete an endless survey which results–ultimately–in you losing money. There’s no such thing as an app that can actually tell who your Facebook Stalker is.

The reason your friend didn’t know is because once you click on it, it will post it to your profile, or someone else’s. The three top stalkers are either randomized by the app, or the three (or more) people who view your page the most.

I have a personal Facebook page, and a fan page (that I am the admin for).

I want to be able to enable everyone to comment and “like” my fan page. On the fan page, when I click on privacy settings it is my personal Facebook privacy settings (I don’t want to change personal settings, just enable everyone to comment and “like” my business fan page account).

I am very confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

if you are using windows 7, an easier tool is snipping tool ,

uf you really want to save text in text form just select text and CTRL+C goto word and CTRL+V

FILE PRINT or CTRL+C

This generally happens when a) they aren’t on your friends list or b) you have set your privacy this way.

To check, go to your privacy settings, customise settings, and check what you have there for wall posts etc.

If that doesn’t work it sounds like a bug that you need to contact facebook about.
