Are Your Friends on Facebook Notified When You Customize a Status to Only Them?
I added a new status but only want 1 person to see it but I don’t want this person to know that they are the only one that can see it. I customized my status for only this specific person but just wanted to make sure that Facebook won’t send them a notification or anything. They’ll just see it like a normal status right?? 10 points for quickest best answer!
No, no one knows when you customize anything because it’s in your privacy settings, so it wouldn’t let them know
Hmmm…I don’t think so. They will be notified that they’re being mentioned in it (if you do the whole @John Doe) thing, but I don’t think there’s a way to make it so only she can see it.
