Anybody Else Delete Their FACEBOOK Account Because of the Heartache Caused?
I found that the worry and anxiety was always there over worrying what somebody might comment on a picture or a nasty message.
I never knew what might be waiting for me.
I’d scroll through my ex boyfriends account like some crappy amateur spy, making myself miserable looking at his pictures, and his comments.
It seemed like everybody was spying on everybody.
I have honestly never felt so free since i deactivated my account (it keeps your details for some reason), and i’ve started to live again.

I HEAR YA!!
facebook was sending me queer in the head. i was getting obsessed with looking at my fiance’s ex girlfriend and also people i used to be friends with in school. it left me feeling really crappy about myself and very jealous, since i deactivated it, i have rediscovered this wonderful thing called ….. LIFE!!!
Well, facebook is full of users these days, many of them aren’t too nice to you, but it was designed for fun. If you felt bad because of the fun goign on, it is better not to get involved. Mind you, within my friends there isn’t anyone it would make other people look bad in any way.
Altogether, I don’t use facebook more than 1 every second month, perhaps sending a few private message. The rest isn’t really important for me, but I noticed people actually spending hours on it browsing other people’s stuff, I found that boring.
So, to answer your question, I know someone deleted his account, but for another reason.
It keeps your details because many people delete (or more properly deactivate) their account and then regret it later. This way if you ever choose to come back to facebook you are not starting from square one, you have friends built in and a lot of profile information done.
