Any Way to Delete Messages Sent on Facebook?

Written by Forum Admin on February 5, 2011 | Posted in Facebook Help

I accidentally said something I didn’t mean to say to a girl and I don’t want her to see it. HELP! I need to get rid of it like NOW!
I need to make sure the girl does not see this message… It could totally kill our friendship!

    You cannot delete it bud.

You can delete it from you inbox but not hers.. Just say " I didnt mean to say that, Sorry" or something.
But if you posted something on her wall you can delete it.. But it still sends her a msg to her email saying you "Posted something on her wall" Or "sent her a msg" if she has that as a setting of what facebook notify s her of..

If it was a message, go to your inbox, find it, and there should be a delete button up at the top.

If it was a wall posting, go to their wall and mouse over the post – then you will have the option to delete it.

well if you already sent it then you could delete the message from your inbox but she can still see it because you sent it to her once she check her inbox so i suggest you say that the message you sent isnt true and that you dont mean that what you said and that you are very sorry

I’m sorry there is no way to delete a message once you have sent it. You can delete it from your box but once you press send, it is no longer your message… it is hers.
