Any Help With My Hacked Facebook Account?
I knew this person on facebook (without a face or any info on her profile) who kept stalking me by sending messages on my facebook inbox.
Although at first, she didn’t seem too threatening or anything , over time, she started to tell me all the things she knew about me. Things that only one’s friends would know about. But that did not bother me too much because she was adding some of my friends as her friends and relaying the same info she got from them to me. This went on for a couple of months and she even let in a hint that she liked me and I figured that she must be some one from high school who trying to get to know me anonymously.
Therefore, I asked her who she was, and I didn’t get any reply. So I decided to ignore her for a while (about a period of two months) but she wouldn’t stop with her messages.
Now, yesterday, I found out that someone changed my facebook and yahoo password..broke into my account and deleted all her messages from my profile(that’s all she did, nothing more it seems). I am certain it was her. However, I was able to reset both my accounts by changing the password again.
But what bothers me is this,
How could she compromise both my accounts so easily?
and How can I prevent this from happening again?

Seriously, make your password harder to crack. Don’t use family members names, pet names, birthdays etc. Make it alphanumeric or even include a symbol. You want it to be something you remember but if thats not possible just keep the password in a safe place.
For example:
hacked411 or hack3d_411
You had to have easy information that she new about. Never list real security information meaning if your security question is who is your high school mascot you don’t go putting the right mascot because people will know. So put something hard. You need to also check for link e-mails which are e-mails people can add incase they forget a password. – That goes for your e-mail accounts.
Now with facebook you need a hard password also.
