Unfortunately there is no way to switch back to the old design after you upgrade to the new Facebook profile. As Facebook is implementing this change gradually, sooner or later all the users will have the new profile, and there is no way back from it.

i cant change it back bc when u IM someone it shows up as a message and its kinda hard to dleet him all the time and not let ppl see them

‘Download your information’ means you can get a zip archive of your entire profile.

I found that the old messages were in the zip file, even though the new interface doesn’t allow me to see them.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, (since this is a little over three months old) go to your inbox and there should be a little light blue box going across the screen near the top, below the navigation bar. It says setup and there’s a black x on the right side of the box that you need to hover over to see. Then it changes back.

But I still hate how when you click new message, a tiny little box appears.

This guy’s problem is the Facebook MESSAGING system. Not the profile layout.

There’s nothing wrong with the layout, anyways. Nothing drastic has changed. You still get the main wall feed and links to photos, info, and videos. It’s not like the messaging system where the whole way it’s used was changed.

I AM TRYING TO SEND A PICTURE FROM MY PHONE TO MY FACEBOOK, MY PHONE LETS ME SEND IT BUT IT DOESN’T SHOW UP ON MY PROFILE OR IN MY PICTURES. I EVEN HAVE TRIED RESETTING THE EMAIL AN EVERYTHING PLEASE HELP ME ………. THANKS 8(

i got the same problem..i hate this new messages system were all the chat messages goes to inbox and archive it…i hate it..

I also HATE the new messaging feature. this is just the type thing that made me leave myspace. face book is next.
