My high school re-union uses it to let everyone know about what is going on . It basically allows you to stay in contact and up to date with all of your friends that are also on it. You can post comments about what you are up to or planning to do, and your friends can stay informed of your activities by logging on and then they know, and they can do the same and then you will know what they are up to. You can start a group, or club. You can post photo’s.

facebook is basically a social networking site, you can search for new friends or just add ur existing friends and communicate with them.

It’s like a better Myspace (and nothing like Yahoo Answers…don’t know where you got that idea.)

You add your friends, write on their walls ("post a comment"), you can post random blogs or surveys under Notes, you can add different applications to play games or decorate your profile..

You can pretty much do everything that Myspace does, but under a website that runs better and doesn’t give your computer a million viruses. And I don’t think there’s as many perverts on Facebook.

You can search for friends, search schools you attended, Alumni, graduating classes, companies, or certain groups of people if you want friends. Sometimes people will invite you to join groups for funds, support groups, or cause-groups such as breast cancer awareness, or something silly like "Dog owner’s Group".

At the top of your "home"Page, updates will be shown to you. These can show invites, or friend requests. You can click on your Info tab at the top of the box (Located next to Wall, Photos, Boxes Tabs) to edit your personal information.
